Explicit Consent Statement

I have read and understood the Yeşilay Mirror of the Future Privacy Notice. With this statement, I freely, in an informed manner and explicitly consent to / approve the following:

Matters I Consent To

• Processing of my facial photo: The processing by artificial intelligence of the facial photo I take with the camera or upload, in order to visualize, for awareness purposes, the possible changes that smoking, alcohol, substance, gambling and/or technology/screen addiction may cause in appearance in future years (for example, within 10–20 years),

• Transfer abroad: The occasional transfer of my photo for this purpose, over an encrypted connection, to AI image-processing providers whose servers may be located abroad (Google and/or OpenAI via OpenRouter), solely for the duration of generating the simulation; and that I have been informed that this transfer carries the risk of my data being temporarily processed on servers subject to a foreign legal system,

• Retention: The temporary storage of my photo and the generated images for the duration of the experience and at most for the retention period set in the admin panel (default 5 minutes), and their automatic deletion at the end of that period.

Matters I Acknowledge and Accept

• I can withdraw my consent at any time; to do so, I can use the "Delete my results now" button on the results screen or write to info@yesilay.org.tr. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.

• The photo must be of me only. Taking or uploading a photo of another person without that person's explicit consent is prohibited, and the responsibility lies with me.

• Persons under 18 may not use this application without being accompanied by and having the consent of a parent/guardian; the consent box is ticked by the parent/guardian and this statement is recorded. The Society reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the parent/guardian consent. All legal liability arising from false statements lies entirely with the user.

• The generated images are not a medical or scientific forecast; they are the artistic output of an AI model.
